In April 2010, a bill was approved allowing cities to use red light cameras. This month, the new law gets put into action. Many cities in South Florida already have operating cameras, including West Palm Beach, Pembroke Pines, Hallandale Beach, Aventura, Miami Beach, Miami Gardens, and Bal Harbour. There are many more cities where camera installation has been approved. Red light camera will soon be coming to the cities of Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, and Royal Palm Beach.
