SunPass Devices Available at Pharmacy

In an attempt to make the switch to the coinless tolls easier, Navarro Discount Pharmacy locations are now authorized to distribute and activate SunPass systems throughout South Florida.  Miami-Dade has implemented an all-electronic toll collection system based on drivers using their SunPass.  Those without a SunPass will have a picture taken of their license plate and will be billed at a later time. 

Turnpike officials said that, prior to the electronic conversion, about 80% of all toll transactions on the Turnpike Extension were done via SunPass.
